Does the temperature in your house affect the peformance of your computer at all?
My dad likes to keep it like 80 degrees+ so its not that comfortable for me wondering how it is for my comp

just have really good cooling on the cpu and try not go let it go to 60C...if it's really bad,

1) get watercooling
2) vantec tornado's...and lots of them
3) tell your dad to move to florida

It could cause instabilities, possibly, but if you don't notice any ill effects it should be fine.

For some people who overclock, they might have to back off with higher temps, but unless you notice any problems, like crashing, theres no harm.
