I like House/Cuddy, but it's never going to last. Opposite attract, sure, but not for long-term relationships. House is right. They have no common interests so after the initial spark dies, they won't have much to do together as a couple. House is getting humanized and being considering and being more of a human (even the go cart thing). But it goes against the whole premise of the show as a lone-wolf crazy medical genius spiel.
All I got on lupus is that it's some random autoimmune disease that fits a ton of symptoms. So it's never lupus but it fits a lot. The one time that it was lupus was hilarious. It's the same thing with cancer. Cancer can show as a ton of various symptoms, so they think it's cancer a lot too.
I liked the episode overall, but I hated the whole author/muse bit. I hate hate on authors who don't finish their stuff. It drives me crazy. I'm looking at you, GRRM and others. It's also why I like Rowling so much. I do get that if the inspiration isn't there, then it isn't there and too bad, but it sucks as the reader to get left on a cliffhanger and then leave it for years with no resolution.
