I've had my eye on this one house that I found on Prudential Properties' website. I've only seen pictures of the house, and it had some really nice features: fenced yard, heated pool, large backyard, etc.. I've had this house on my portfolio for months and wanted to finally check it out this weekend. Well, I checked the house again on our county's appraiser website. The backyard is right next to a cemetery. Tsk.

Don't do it.

I would never live in a place that was near the potentially undead.

Run.

Nah, just get zombie insurance. And maybe a holy water cistern for your sprinkler system.

I live next to a cemetery and it's awesome! Aside from the previous posts (which are completely accurate), there's a couple more bonuses.

Another house won't ever be built next to yours - you'll have an unobstructed view of a sunrise or sunset.

Headstones are great conversation starters when you read the inscriptions during walks.

Paved paths for roller blading or jogging.

You'll know who died, if your curious.

Chicks in black skirts are hawt!

If you know the actual address, it's easy to check out property and neighborhood using googlemaps or virtualearth.

That would seal the deal for me to get the house for certain! I used to walk through the cemetary near my house probably 3 - 4 times a week. Quiet, well kept, and lots of cool inscriptions to look at.

Hmm... I guess that would be a plus to have quiet backyard neighbors. I just hope I don't encounter many of those girls in black chanting stuff in the cemetery. Some of my friends' friends used to do it back in high school.

That's what a flare gun is for. And that holy water cistern. Spray them down with a hose and watch them run off hissing. ;)

I used to work at a cemetery that , obviously, had neighbors...and we did everything for them, I would sometime cut there lawn if they wanted me too.

and truth is, at least once a week there was one hot girlie in the group if not more.

That would be so sweet. I'd totally buy that house. Now.

LOL, that painted a funny picture in my head.

I also think it would be a great location.

Edit:

Also, if I highlander comes after you, you're right next to consecrated ground.

Plus: Grieving women are supposedly easier.

Possible minus: Having sex while a bunch of ghosts are watching.
