House Renovation

Well the house has gotten more and more drafty over the years and the siding has lost its luster. I think the walls are getting wet so it time to renovate.

We are thinking of covering the old siding with vinyl siding but we cant agree on the color. I think a nice dark grey would look nice but my wife prefers a dark red that would match nicely with the chimney.

Anyway, have look at the pictures and let me know what you think.

light yellow. It will be a nice contrast with the chimney and completely different than what you have. Also, it will absorb less light than dark grey, which would make your house a lot cooler in the summer.

Yellow may be nice but what about resale value. I am told yellow houses are the hardest ones to sell.

Just repainted white, it's just a little faded. The shingles should be good for another 5 years but consider redoing them.

Consider something other than vinyl. That shit produces huge amounts of toxic by-products during manufacturing. /hippie rant
