Interesting that for Replubicans it's okay to willingly do stuff with the wall that won't stop the problem 100%, but when it comes to any gun regulations their argument is "THAT'S NOT GOING TO STOP THEM 100% SO WE SHOULDN'T DO IT!"

now it seems the secret service is refuting her claims about Trump grabbing at the sterling wheel of the Beast.

Wonder why the committee didnt just stick to what she personally saw instead of 2nd hand info of what she heard.
ie: why did they go into hearsay territory?

I am guessing there is more than one witness and / or they have something to back it up. I wouldn't be surprised if there is video surveillance footage.

Why should they control what she says? She’s giving her full testimony under oath. She was very clear that the steering wheel grabbing/SS assault wasn’t witnessed by her, it was relayed to her by Tony so-and-so.

The committee’s job isn’t to take any one person’s version of events as truth. Testimony should beget more testimony. This is working as intended, whether it’s convenient politically or not.

unfortunately, the whole 2nd hand story of grabbing the steering wheel of the Beast is what's in the news cycle and overshadowing the other facts from Tuesday's surprise hearing. 🙁

Not really. Yes it made for colorful TV, but between now and the next hearing, more attention will be paid to knowingly allowing armed protesters to take the Capitol without any call for backup from the White House. If not, blame the media, not the committee.
