The guy who took photos arrived to the capitol on a Keep America Great bus.

...

At approximately 2:04 in the video you can see Loudermilk look to his right where this guy is taking pictures. Several other places in the video Loudermilk was near this guy taking pictures of areas tourists don't normally take pictures of because they are not interesting to normal tourists. Loudermilk needs to step down or be forced out.

Great commentary by Maddow.

I’m confused about why the capitol police chief said there is “no evidence of reconnaissance tours”?

I think after these hearings it will be very difficult for the DOJ to avoid indicting at least members of Trump's inner circle like Eastman. My main concern is they may do that to deflect criticism from not indicting Trump, but I stand by my prediction that Trump will face one or more indictments either federally or from georgia.

This is certainly suspicious.
On Monday, Capitol Police Chief Tom Manger wrote in a letter to Rep. Rodney Davis (R-IL) on the House Administration Committee "we do not consider any of the activities we observed as suspicious."

Sure Barry, the guy taking pictures of the artwork just happened to be in the riot on J6. He probably wanted to take more pictures of the artwork that he missed the day before.
"When the guys near the tunnels go into the Capitol, that's where they hang the artwork that school children give. And at the other end, there [are] the trolleys, the trains and the kids wanted to see the trains that take the congressmen to the House chambers. That's all this was."

It's like the Capitol Police leadership wants to destroy any credibility they ever had, if they ever had any.

I mean, if they don't I'd have to believe they're either compromised or incapable of doing their job, either of which should require a reform.

DOJ is asking the committee for testimony.

DOJ asks Jan. 6 committee for transcripts of witness depositions (axios.com)

Seems the sleeper has awakened.
