You think so? Trump has made well over 1000 insulting, juvenile remarks since he ran for office in 2015. None of them change the political fault lines as everyone's opinion of him is formed.
What CNN and the others are doing by hanging on his every vile word is cashing in on anti-Trump outrage. But they are giving him too much air play. They should just report on the important stuff - like if he declares his intent to run in 2024, or if he gets charged with a crime. We don't need to know about his latest insults. He insults everyone who doesn't kiss his ass. Everyone knows this. He is an immature man child. Everyone knows this. Do we need constant, daily reminders of what execrable slime our former President is?

I dont know.. What was Trump happened, I dont see anything good coming from trying to hide it. Reminding the D base that the threat is not over is probably a good thing too, specially come mid-terms.

In some cases they may not be seeing it. But even if they do see it, they work off a preconception that everything he does is correct, and that everything that the media or democrats say about his conduct is automatically untrue. If they do not understand Trump's actions, they just assume he is playing 5 dimensional chess. You know, because the God Emperor acts in strange and mysterious ways only understood by the God Emperor himself.
Short version: they don't give a crap what he does so long as he "pwns the libs" while he does it.

I will add that many have been brain washed by Fox News and friends (ION, Newsmax, etc). I have many family members who support Trump, and when ever I show them the truth, the actual facts, they call it fake news. They have been programmed to believe the lies as truth, and the truth as lies. We are headed down, or I should say, we have been heading down a very dangerous road because of this.
Trump is not the person we should be worried about. It's the next guy, or Trump 2.0, who not only has the Dangerous, criminal characteristics of Trump, but also brains and the ability to speak. If Trump 2.0 has all of Trump's Evil Character, combined with Obama's Charisma and Brains (ability to speak in a smart manner), we are truly fucked.

Yeah, no. "Reasonable" Republicans show concern about Trump or idiots like him but very very few actually take a real stand. McCain did on that ridiculous "health" care bill they tried to pass, but that's because he knew he was dying and didn't need the deplorable vote. They get back into line or they get voted out by the rubes back home that love what Trump stands for (xenophobia, hating science, and getting over any way you can among other things.)
How many times has the Senator from Maine or Lindsay Graham furrowed their brows in great concern over Trump? I'm surprised their faces haven't folded in half. None of that means shit in the end. Their concern is trying to have their cake and eat it too (fool the rubes, appeal to the middle and hope to get by).
Current day Romney is maybe the closest we have to one of them showing a spine. And not much of one at that. Trump shits all over him and anyone else he likes and they mostly pucker up and say "may I have another?"

Don't you think (well you probable rarely if ever actually think about much of anything), that if some large number of the people arrested/under investigation for their actions on 1/6 are saying that they just followed their (yours too...don't fucking deny it trumphumper) leader that some sort of investigation into said leader and his actions is warranted? And in a perfect world Don't you think (probably not, because you cant) that it is prudent to have an independent bipartisan investigation in order to officially get to the bottom of what happened and hold all involved accountable up to and including prosecuting to the fullest extent of the law? Or do you prefer your authoritarians to not be held to any standard or law? (You don't have to answer the last question because it has been very obvious, no matter any faux denials vomited outta your trump cum hole, where you stand on that part).
