I'm not a lawyer or constitutional scholar or anything, but I can't imagine you could pardon someone for any crimes he might have committed. I thought one could only be pardoned for crimes he/she is charged with? Anyone got any solid info on that one, I'm curious.

On topic: the dems are just showing that they are no better than the repubs, it's all about show and image, but in the end they don't have the balls to haul some of these criminals like Rove, Hadley etc into court, indict & convict them and put them in the slammer.
