House on the Rock

Go. It is amazing. Allow 3-5 hours to see it all. When you get to where you buy the tickets, be sure to buy 5-10 bucks worth the tokens for feeding the calliopes.

Terrible website. The things loading like I'm on 28k. I think you should go and spend some money there. That way they can upgrade their bandwidth :^P

lol, your post count is super low dude. I'm wondering who has been the longest member with the lowest post count ratio?

But yea I have never been to a bunch of places around me locally either like, Marine Land, African Lion Safari, and Wild Water Kingdom.

I have been there a couple of times, and I would have to highly recommend going! One could easily spend 5 hours looking at all the randomness.

go. i went last summer with my wife and her family. before we got there i was just kinda thinking it would be boring. but that place it huge and took us 3-4 hours or so to get through and some of the rooms will blow you away. Tt is downright amazing. the music rooms are fascinating. some of the rooms are boring like the dollhouses, but the rest makes it worth it.

We were there about 15yrs ago., I came to the conclusion, it is what Uncle Walt would have done, if he was on acid. My wife bought the big pictorial book, but it doesn't do it justice. You really have to walk through the entire place, to appreciate the eccentric genius of the man.

There is another interesting town around there called Mt. Horeb. They have a mustard museum and lot of little trolls around the town. We went to the brewpub in town, it was good as well.

I haven't been for a while, but it wasn't my cup of tea at the time. It's basically like a long walk spoiled by stupid kitsch. And it was pricey if I remember correctly. Taliesin is pricey too but maybe worth it.
