altho, on a related note, it somewhat irks me to hear people say "pho" because I had no idea what these people were talking about until they said "vietnamese noodle soup." I grew up hearing it said correctly and it wasn't until college until I heard botching it 😛

Not sure if that second one's from Georgia or not, but I know there's a What the Pho near Gwinnett Place Mall there.
