Here's an idea - set their salary to the median income of a typical working American. If we don't make money, they don't make money!

Maybe I'm confused, but since I can't afford to live in Beverly Hills I don't live there.
Why do they have to live in such an expensive neighborhood?

Because the only less expensive neighborhoods that are reasonably close to their jobs are filled with crack houses and gangs.

I find it hard to believe that the only neighborhoods in the area are either crack house filled or cost a million dollars to live in. There's no middle class in DC and the surrounding areas?

It's not the congress members fault that so many americans are willing to settle for welfare or working at McDonalds. Every american has the opportunity to go to college and improve their skills no matter how poor they are.

DUDE, THAT'S A FREAKIN AWESOME IDEA! Too bad they'll pay off an "un-biased" 3rd party company to survey those averages. 🙁
