The House Intelligence Committee, led by Republicans, has concluded that there was no deliberate wrongdoing by the Obama administration in the 2012 attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi

report ‘confirms that no one was deliberately misled, no military assets were withheld and no stand-down order (to U.S. forces) was given

The panel also concluded that while the Obama Administration’s method for developing “talking points” was “flawed,” they “reflected the conflicting intelligence assessments in the days immediately following the crisis

So now I have a couple of questions

Will the righties admit they were wrong?

Will there be any regrets from the right about being less concerned about the 4 killed and who did it and more concerned about what Obama said after it?

How much coverage will Fox News give this since we all know how they've blanketed the airwaves to date.

"They" got to the fine upstanding GOP members of the committee. I'm sure George Soros was behind it. Their families were probably threatened and a number of pictures of members of congress naked with goats or toasters were probably thrown in for good measure.

Did you let Rep. Trey Gowdy know that?

Why would Republicans make such final announcements and carry on with it? If they preempted Gowdy without his blessing, then surely this constitutes a Republican attack on fellow Republicans. That might make for a bigger story.

You've consigned yourself to go down with the ship... So be it.

Of course not, you silly man. They just put it out of their minds, move on as if nothing happened. They keep the Faith, bury it deep down inside. They still Believe. That way, they're mentally & emotionally prepared, actually eager, for more of the same red meat sucker bait.

It feels good to Believe, and that's all that really matters to them. Their arguments are merely intended to justify that.

Do we really need to Benghazi threads going at the same time?

I think the other is dead, buried under a heap o' obfuscation & denial. They're currently going on about Nakoula Basseley Nakoula & the govt's attempts to "persecute him!" as if that means jack or shit. Or anything else that avoids having to man-up.

Well, denial is something you are an expert on.

Yes, and I personally would have preferred the title of this one be "GOP stupidity on Benghazi proven to be critical"

So you approve of weapons smuggling to Syrian terrorists?
You probably said as much in the other topic.

- Nope, checked and found you avoided the subject. Now's your chance.
My topic was originally focused on the reporting of us shipping weapons to Syria via Benghazi. I figured truly illegal activity would be relevant. Apparently our actions which helped ISIS take control are a-okay with the America people. As if September 11th didn't happen, to teach us what happens when we build up Islamic terrorists. We go and do it again... get caught... and nothing. Not a peep. I expected internal consequences, but this country is seemingly without lesson of past mistakes, nor law to address it.
