QFMFT. I couldn't care less about this crap at this point - the damage has been done, and nobody has been held accountable. And I have no reason to believe that anybody ever will be.

With nearly a year left until 1/20/2009, GWB&co can do much remaining damage. But with 49 repubs lock step supporting GWB in the Senate, that is far more than the 33 needed to block conviction in the Senate.

The dems should have grown a backbone in 2007, they didn't, but at least its good to see they are making a start now. A congress grown too accustomed to a strong executive can't function as a congress in the constitutional sense.

Thus a democratic President in 2009 merely kicks the congressional constitutional role can down the road. And if we get a republican Pres in 08, we will surely go down the toilet.

I support all possible punishments for everyone having anything to do with the Bush administration..

But, I would support jail time for pretty much every politician... except of course the honest 1%.
