I loved last night's episode up to the final two minutes. Part of the allure of House is his constant struggle with his feelings for Cuddy. Now that's been pretty much thrown out of the script.

Are you really so naive as to think everything will now be puppies and rainbows for House and Cuddy? Really?

The drama has only just begun! Those two getting agreeing to get together is only just setting the stage for MORE tears, betrayals, and intense and bitter complications next season.

How can you not see that?

I don't know. I hope you're right. But if House is "happy" what's going to start the conflicts? He doesn't get jealous, he doesn't shed tears for anyone. Maybe he will have second thoughts after becoming a de facto "father". :\

I think the more interesting storyline is who's going to replace 13 now that she's obviously off the series for a while.

BTW, the producers, cast and writers do a great job of not giving out hints to the media. 13 leaving is the second time in two years that I had no clue a cast member was leaving.

Just watched the season finale. I thought they were going to have House relapsed again and end the season with him sucking down the Vicodine. The last few episodes had shown House leading down a death spiral where he does "everything right" and everything wrong happens.

Good pump fake by the writers and this change was needed as all other storylines have been exhausted. I also liked how they rekindled House's backstory with his leg similar to season 1 in the "Three Stories" episode where we first get introduced to Stacy (who I would love to see make another appearance on the show again).

Well, I still think he's their rented mule and they'll keep flogging him for plot complications 'till the cows come home!

But your "what if" is intriguing! I think it would be an ultra-ballsy and unorthodox move for them to present us with a consistently content and relatively mellow House while the world around him stays insane.

I would really applaud that move!! I just don't think it's gonna' happen.

Oh, man, my feeling is, "Who can't see this coming?"
