i just realized house doesn't really do clinic visits anymore. sad.

house: "so your arm only hurts after you sleep on it all night?"
patient: "yes"
house: "so have you thought about not doing that?"
patient: "no, it's how i sleep, it's how i've always slept."
house: "there's always surgery."
patient: "like what, to remove some cartilage or something?"
house: "you're not sleeping on some cartilage, you're sleeping on your arm."
patient: "you want to remove my arm?!"
patient walks away pissed off.

The diagnoses are getting more and more bogus. And yeah i definitely miss the clinic sessions where he really shows a lot of his insight and inference skills

yeah, i guess that's why they are trying to focus a little more on the personal life of house/doctors than the patients

I hate how they always correctly diagnose the problem in the last 5-7 minutes of the show. Why cant they, just once, be right on the first diagnosis and let the patient go home.

OP, I agree completely, I've been thinking the same thing. The witty remarks, the sarcasm etc that house displays when he's doing clinical rounds was the best part of the show, but they seem to be moving away from that part. I love his interaction with some of the idiot patients :)

They're starting to mix it up. Expect them to throw in some clinic scenes now and again. They were getting predictable so they are changing things.

that happens every day other than tuesday. they only admit difficult patients on tuesdays so that they can tape it and make the show. besides, its hard to get a primetime slot 7 nights a week.

Agreed, the clinic was the wittiest part of the show. Maybe the writers just don't have enough good clinic ideas? It must be hard to continually come up with good clinic skits like that.

[Cut to House entering a clinic room, where a young woman/teenager is lying n a bed with her legs up and a sheet over her? you know where this is going.]

House: Good afternoon. I?m going to be looking at your ? Perfect. Excuse me. [picks up phone] Need Dr. Foreman in Exam Room 1 for a consult. So when did this start?

Woman: A couple weeks ago. I didn?t want to get pregnant. Jake?s not into rubbers, so I got on the jelly. You think I?m allergic or something?

House: You have an infection. Gonna need a sample.

Woman: I brought the jar.

House: No, I meant a sample of your ? [He looks up to see her holding a bottle of strawberry jelly. Oh boy.] Okay, we have a neurological problem here.

Woman: There?s something wrong with my brain?

House: Oh yeah. You can cover yourself up, got what I need. [Foreman enters.]

Foreman: What?s up?

House: Smell this. Smells like vaginosis, but it?s not really my call.

Foreman: Great, I?ll be sure to put a gold star by your name on the board. Anica?s biopsy for pancreatic cancer was negative. [He leaves.]

House: Okay, I?m gonna give you some antibiotics, and you probably shouldn?t have sex for awhile.

Woman: How long?

House: On an evolutionary basis, I?d recommend forever.

The clinic definitely needs to come back. But the clinic represented the power struggle between House & Cuddy, and there is no power struggle anymore. House is King of the hospital. The one thing I really don't like is that the new cast is more like a circus than a diagnostic team. Forman, Chase, & Cameron were believable as doctors. Taub, Kutner, & 13 (does she have a name yet?) are not. Oh well.
