Link the bills that were passed to expand executive priveledge giving GWB more power than any other president.

Of course-yet again, It's All Bill's Fault (copyright, national GOP party).

The 1990's GOP controlled Congress was obsessed with a multitude of ridiculous and expensive (in diverted manpower and financially) "investigations" of any and everything the White House did. If we had an Attorney General one quarter as capable, or one-quarter as honest as Janet Reno in the past seven years our country would almost certainly be on a much better track. At a minimum, the Department of Justice would not be the political enforcement tool that Bush has turned it into.

Go ahead and highlight where he said it was Bill's fault.

Clean your own damn house. You aren't going to get power back until you do. You can point fingers at Democrats and Clinton and scream till your face turns blue, but your party has demonstrated from 2000-2006 that it can't govern, and until it demonstrates real change from within, and not just mudslinging at the opposition, it simply cannot and will not be trusted to govern again. The more GOP resorts to your Rovian smear tactics and senseless obstructionism to undermine confidence in government institutions for political gain, the less the people will trust your party to govern. You need to demonstrate humility, self reflection, and principal reform from within, not just gotcha politics, scare tactics, and idiotic mudslinging.
We don't know what the Democrats will be like, but we do know what the Republicans were like.
Clinton allowed an independent council conduct openly partisan politically motivated fishing expeditions against him. Bush doesn't even think his administration is accountable to the representatives of the people who pay their salaries.

Let's ignore all the precedents of family law, both national and international. The boy had a father, and he was well within his rights to want to raise his child. But I guess your political axe grinding takes precedence over that? What's next? Children should be taken from parents suspected of thought crimes and raised by 'approved' families?

Reno had been in charge of Justice for what, 8 days when that started? She had no knowledge of the operation at all at that point, it was a holdover operation from the previous administration's crew, who wanted to make a big splashy arrest. If this had been handled with any sense at all, at the beginning, they would have arrested the guy while he was out jogging.
