House bill to cut back on free school lunches

I've said it before, he's figuratively a caricature of Ebenezer Scrooge.
He is the same ass hat who ha referred to urbanites as HG Wells's morlocks. Glenn is just about the most despicable human being I have seen. Speedy and spidy are better human beings than Glenn.

Although he probably faps away at the hate so maybe we should just ignore him going forward.

The whole point of this discussion is about saving money on the school lunch program.
Everyone likes to save money, hold parents accountable for feeding their kids. If they need assistance it's fine, but they should have to allow inspections and audits to make sure their children are being cared for reasonably well.

It's not as if other conservatives will ever have anything bad to say about him, they can relate more with what he's all about than to any leftard ever.

1. It's just a proposal, no need to panic.

2. My reading of the proposal, as explained in the linked article, is much different than many here. It seems that this bill is an attempt to better target the assistance/money where needed.. I.e., in some schools ALL students are 'blanket' covered even if not needy. Why not redirect the assistance from the non-needy to the actual needy?

Billionaires obviously need tax breaks more than kids need lunch & America obviously needs more military hardware, too. Maybe they'll save enough money for another squadron of F35's, huh?

Unlike the liberals here, Jesus actually fed poor people instead of saying "let Caesar handle it."
If I had the powers of Jesus, I do a lot of things, the least of which is making sure that everyone had food. In this case Caesar isn't handling it, we the taxpayers are. If you want to exclude people who don't pay net income tax that's fine, but as someone who does, I'm completely fine with paying a little more in taxes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner for children who literally can't afford it. We have the ability to make sure that children don't go hungry, and I honestly can't believe that we lack the will.

You're OK with the federal government doing that instead of the schools?

The legislation that the Repubs prioritized was letting coal junk get dumped into water supplies, and making it harder for poor children to get a good meal in school.

What a bunch of scumbags.

Then start a new thread about it
I like this thread, it's a nice cozy thread where people can exchange ideas about school lunches, parenting and the federal governments involvement in local public schools. The OP has been treated so kindly by his opposition that it makes me warm all over for their kindness and politeness. I also like to see how his opposition has stuck so closely to the stated topic of his thread.
