Houdini dog problems

My dog hates other people. She'll do whatever it takes to get away from them, and that includes slipping out of her collar and just about every harness I could find on the market. Shes ran towards traffic a couple of times, and I need something she can't just jerk her head and get out of on walks. So I'm thinking of going for a choker chain. Is it inhumane? Are there any other harness's out there that could actually hold a dog determined to get out?

There are actually collars worse then that. Ones that have spike on the inside of the choker. So no I dont think it is inhumane to something of the such.

i had a dog that kept running,
i gave the dog to a person that has a Huge fenced in yard with a 6 foot fence.
he jumped the fence there twice, 🙁
don't know if they still have him,
i had to get rid of the dog,as it worried me sick every time he took off...
friendly; dumb 3/4 husky, mutt. Loved the outside!

Getting rid of her would kill her. I've had her since she was a pup, and she won't trust anyone else near her. When I was away for a weekend trip, the vet said she refused to even eat since I wasn't the one feeding her. She lost about 5-6 pounds and thats not good for a 20-25 pound dog.

Have you tried those harness that go around the chest? That way they can't get it off. Also they sell things that go around the muzzle, so when she tries to take the lead, you pull and it pulls her head in another direction.

Yes, deffinately check into the harness that go around the dogs chest, puts a collar both on his neck and behind his front legs basically. Something similiar is used for such pets as ferrets, and they can't get out of them very easily.
