Take a copy of your order to a nearby Staples store. The manager matched the online deal, including the $100 coupon, for a $90 AR deal. It may have helped that the monitor is a clearance item in the stores. There is also a $40 NEC rebate on the same monitor. Same rebate house but with a different promotion number. Both rebates ask for an original UPC sticker. I'm going to try for both rebates to make this a $50 monitor.

Not meant as a thread crap but...

This monitor was clearanced for a long time at Staples. I got one, coupon'd it, rebate'd it, and got it for ~$75. At that price, I'm not complaining but if this is (or ever was) NEC's second to best 19", then that's pretty sad. It's not that great of a monitor IMHO, but if you get a hot deal then it's a decent bang for your buck. These monitors aren't even true flat screen; only the outermost piece of glass is flat.

with a 60 rebate
thats 35$....

another store did not have the box - so i could not get the rebate - so they lowered the price to $50 and gave me a 2 ear warranty

I also just got one for $95.50 on final clearance. Minus the $60 rebate it will be $35. It was the last one at the Janesville WI Staples, but definitely worth looking into at the other stores.

most are gone from every store, you got extremely lucky. there was a thread for this last week. people were calling every store in a state, but most were all sold out.

my brother got 2 in mass. the black one showed at the 95 price and the white was $40 more - I told him to bug the mgr that they are the same except color, after 10 minutes the mgr gave in - 2 rebates perhousehold!
