These are 80min/700MB no rated speed. Real cool looking, each spindle has red, purple, blue, orange and white. Colors go all the way through.
 
Avoid colored Imation like a plague.
i bought 8 spindels @ officemax or office depot and they are terrible! most of them wont finish burn. When i put in a Fuji in its place, it would burn fine.

I wish i didn't buy so many of them 🙁

I am guessing thats why they are selling them so cheap.
 
Pretty much anything is hotter then the Olsen twins. Maybe it should read As hot as the Olsen twins are scary. I still have nightmares about Full House.
 
these are decent cdrs. i grabbed 4 spindles of these when they were $7 @ OfficeMax (no rebates! lol)
still got a spindle or two laying around

You are right, I was thinking more of the Barbi twins, which is closer to my generation.

burning many different cdrs really depends on the quality of your burner. if you have a good quality burner, eg plextor/tdk you can burn any cd.

i personally have a spressa and bought 8 spindles of these back at omax and they all work great. never had a problem with any brand CDs despite everyone saying on this board so and so cds suck, or so and so cds don't recognize or burn.

i've had matsushita, samsung, and yamaha burners however that don't recognize/burn cds correctly.

so moral: don't skimp on your CDR drive...if you have a good burner ANY media is good. if you buy a cheap burner, you'll be wasting money and time looking for taiyo yudens forever...

 
I bought 7 spindles of these. They work great. 24x CD-CD no problems. I have a TDK Velocd.

They look really cool too.

So very true! But I would like to add, even if you own the best burner on the market, you can still get real crappy media. and if you burn this crappy media @ 24x or so, the result could be a coaster or bad burn (it burns sucessfully but it the playback is awful). so having a quality burner will get you so far, but then you need to buy "good" or "quality" media.

btw, taiyo yuden are cyanine dye (long strategy) while alot of todays media is phalocyanine dye (short strategy); so stick to TYs even if you got a good burner and want your burn to last in the long run.
 
They are junk IMO..I have made more coasterswith these than any others i have ever used...I have a 16x Yamaha and a 6x Acer ...both have probs with these things. I think the batch i got was "warped" because the burner runs really really really loud when i put one of these in, however with other media the burners run fine....
Hey at 12 bux a pop....buy one and see if it works for you...
BTW I got my 4 spindles at OM when they were 7 bux a pop
