As much as I don't know about the quality of this LCD, I think that Tigerdirect is hit or miss. I have ordered from them on 5 different occasions, and 3 times received monitors the NEXT DAY (I live in Milwaukee, items shipped out of Illinois).

But many people here have had terrible luck.

I guess you have to decide whether you want to "risk" it or not.

buy.com has a samsung LCD 15" for $250 or so after rebate. check tech bargains .com .

better stay away from tigerdirect.

And if I remember right, free shipping.

How about the shipping of gateway LCD?

I have this monitor, I bought it 6 months ago from tigerdirect. It came with a Mx400 video card for 299$ there refurbs I think. Mine was. But I could not tell it was a refurb. No dead pixls. I actually bought 2 and Ebayed one 🙂

the monitor is awsome. NO ghosting in games, bright slim and sweet . its DVI only Im pretty sure. The monitor is a FPD1500

Does the monitor use the same DVI-I connector that current video cards (nVidia/ATI/etc) use? The site doesn't seem to specify.
