Saw them on the clearance rack in a Target in NW Ohio. Price was marked $29.98, but when I scanned them, they were $12.48.

Oh...saw a Casio 2.3" LCD TV there too for $44.98 (was $89.99), but that's not as hot.

Here's a link for a description of the headphones:

I have these headphones, clarity isnt the greatest, i get some static on occasions even in short range, but maybe its just me. But what really gets me is the comfort of the headset, after a few hours of wearing them, my ears begin to hurt... but then again it could just be me. This headset is good for the price, but not great if you plan on using it a lot, I'd probabally get something more comfortable.

I have been thinking about picking up some wireless headphones for mowing the lawn and doing yardwork, so I look at the Jensens. I already have a set of Matrix wireless devices, and I think they aren't too bad for how cheap they are compared to other brands. I will say, however, the Jensen headphones are like putting on a pair of unpadded bricks. Just about every brand I've had the opportunity to actually put on my head feels better than these. I don't know about sound quality, tho.

I'll try to find these at my target since the price is just unbeatable... however, I'm almost certain this is a YMMV deal. If anybody else finds some, please post where and how many, if possible.

Hmmm...I actually thought they were pretty comfortable. I wore them while mowing the lawn yesterday and they were plenty loud and clear. They worked out for me great :)

You'll be hard pressed to find these, they were down to $12.48 at most Target stores months ago.
Also, they're uncomfortable to use. There's no control for tension on the headphones and they becoming irritating after only a few minutes use.
They're still useful on occasion, but I have to push them forward so the earpiece is resting in front of my ear. Not too bad that way, but I have to turn the volume all the way up.
If you need them regularly, I'd recommend getting a comfortable pair, even at full price.

I have these. I picked them up at Target months ago for the same price. I'm quite surprised you found some. I personally think they are great. I have a pair that I use at my desk in the office. Nice as I can wander to the printer and back without losing reception.

I also have a pair to use at home. I attach them to my piano and can practice late into the night without making the animals howl.

If you can get your hands on a pair, I would recommend these, especially at such a great price. If they are uncomfortable for you, then you can always return them.

I used to own these headphones.
When you say that you wore them while mowing the lawn, I would have to say that is probably the best use for them.

I found that when plugging them into my stereo, I had problems with loud pings. I adjusted the various settings all over the place, tried both channels, couldn't get it to stop.

It was probably something to do with the portable phone or wireless lan -- I'll never know. I got rid of mine.

Mine were free from an Infiniti test drive. I think $12.49 is an appropriate price for them. At least you can return them if they don't work out for you.

Hmmm, maybe I have a big head and am free from radio interference, but I find these headphones very comfortable (the rubber strap at the top works to adjust tension), and they're pretty much static free a good 70-80ft from the base. I also have a wireless LAN and a cordless phone, but they're on 2.4ghz and the headphones use 900mhz. My one big complaint is the tuning knob is right next to the volume knob and I keep confusing the two.

No, the rubber strap doesn't have anything to do with tension. The tension, or pressure exerted by the headphones inward (on your ears), is simply a matter of the flexible plastic around the top of your head. There is no way to adjust it. All the rubber strap does is help hold the headphones in place by adjusting to the top of your head.

Like I said before, by main problem with these is they are uncomfortable. That doesn't mean they still aren't a deal at $12.48, but just about nobody's still going to be able to find them. As to the sound quality, it's not that great, but then again I wasn't expecting much from the same bandwidth used by cordless phones.

I don't work for target, best buys, staples, etc. But if you worked there and you found a deal like that wouldn't you snap it up too?

Why do you think I want to work at BestBuy;) Only problem is closest one to me at school is about 45min away. Too far.
