yeah, looks like you got in before the 20% discount expired, and before Dell raised the price(Dell Home Customers: Save 20% off Desktop Accessories! Expires on 2004-11-11 05:59:59 - $69.99). ya lucky bastid 😀

where the hell was that coupon code when i needed it yesterday? sigh...

dont worry the deals are going to come again. In two weeks i predict it go down in price even further. Since the deals have only gotten better on the dell site.

dell sucks. i am stunned at how truly awful their customer support is. when i entered this order this morning it showed the speakers with a 20% discount, and free shipping. however, when i submitted the order, the invoice showed only a 10% discount AND $30 for shipping - $65 higher than what the previous page showed! i have probably wasted 3 hours today and over an hour of cell phone time trying to get the matter resolved. i have had to deal with their horrible automated phone menus and a bunch of wahoos in india who have no idea what i'm trying to explain to them. i finally got a guy who understood my problem with the shipping and was able reverse the $30 overcharge and it only took him 25 minutes! naturally he couldn't do anything about the overcharge on the speakers, but at least he gave me a number to call to address the problem. according to him their hours are 7am-11pm cst. it's now 10:30pm cst and they are closed. so now i get to waste more time on this tomorrow.

dell sucks.

man, what a pain. finally got somebody who agreed to give me $35 credit to compensate for the screwup on my order. final cost will be $265 for the speakers, some speaker wire, and a nifty little belkin headphone spliter (1->2). good deal but what a hassle. i think i need to go cold turkey on the hot deals forum!!!

ordered them today...trying to order online is like passing a camel thru the eye of a needle...

got an email confirmation and then i called them about 4 hrs. after i ordered them... was told the package had been shipped....

total price for Klipsch 5.1 speakers was $223.31
