Hotspot security suggestions?

I'll be traveling a lot for the next year. Anyone have a recommendation for a VPN service to make hotspot usage more secure?

I'd just setup an SSL VPN or an SSL CGI Proxy for really quick stuff

You could likely use Hamachi, too. It was a free service. I assume it still is.

You could also buy a low-end VPN router for your main office/home. We've used the Netgear FVS114 for site-to-site VPNs with ISA Server 2004 and it did OK. A client-to-site VPN should work fine.
