wow. I'd be all sittng pretty with this and the $199 i7-920 Micro Center deal (unfortunately, I paid a lot more a month ago)

Wow. Great deal, now I have to hope that my Microcenter still has a Core i7 920 still in stock...

Super Talent makes decent ram, right?

Actually, on second thought, I think I'd rather have the UD4P instead for future ram purchases..

Any more feedback x58 owners???? I'm interested at this price! And I have a MC an hour away.

I believe the mobo is decent for a basic board; should oc just as well as any of the others. I have had supertalent ram in the past and was not pleased with it. Ram was not compatible with my bloodrage, seemed to work better on my biostar board, but I think there is much better ram for the money out there. OCZ is making excellent ram and always have them cheap after rebates.

Ewiz also has a deal on the x58 UD4p which comes out to approx $175 shipped after rebate and cashback, along with $20 promo code. I personally would get the UD4P for cheap mobo and good quality. I am currently trying to talk myself out of buying another system.

as for MC deal. deal is over, but if you have a copy of the email stating the deal is good through today; ten they will honor the price! I live about an hour away from MC myself as someone stated, but by the time i figure in fuel costs; I might as well pay the $230 and pick one up whenn Im in the area which will be Sunday, lol.

I was told the cpu would have to be picked up today and they only hold the product for 48 hours. not sure what happened to the 3 day rule, but the lady said I would have to pick it up today since the deal is over at the end of today.

Thanks, OP.
While I didn't get the exact deal you specified, I did get a similar deal.
I picked up the GA-EX-UD4P.
Regular price $219.99 - $20 promo (memorial20) - $11 Cashback - $15 MIR = $173.99.
I hope i'm getting a pretty good motherboard. I've never owned a Gigabyte before, but have read what reviews I could find & they all seemed favorable.
If that's the case, then I got a good deal! 🙂
