I would guess they're either going by signup date or some freaky gauge on activity level. Either way, I should have one upgraded soon 😉

yeah my hotmail is damn active too.
But still at 2MB, not quite making it.

I can't keep any decent attachments for too long 🙁

everyone should just be patient.. it'll happen for everyone soon enough. I think Hotmail/MIcrosoft is actually being smart about this and staging the release of expanded storage. I have a yahoo account too and when yahoo released their expanded storage, their servers were totally bogged and I couldn't access my email for days.. acess was totally intermittent.

At least with Microsoft's approach, everyone still has access to their email with their trickle release strategy.

I got my 250 four days ago. It was nice to see 77% full to 0% full...it's quite lovely. Too bad there is no automatic feature to save sent email. I hate having to click on the "save sent mail" box. So now I have to decide if I give my hotmail email or my Gmail one...hehehe. So spoiled

Both my accounts are still at 2MB (one main and one for spam). I've been a avid user of hotmail for the last 3 years, so it's a about time they give something back to me!

I've got 2 HM accounts, one that's been open about for 5 years now. Both are still at 2MB. I've been letting my primary account creep lately in anticipation of this increase... I think I'm at 94% right now... hope nobody tries to send me anything over 120K before the switch... lol

This has to be about the longest upgrade ever. I have had my spam hotmail account (the only one hotmail account I have) for 5 or so years and I am still at 2MB. Apparently it wasn't first registered, first to get service.
