Is it possible to configure outlook to check hotmail?

yep. make a new identity if you want and config the pop3.

outlook xp and outlook express support hotmail.. outlook 2000 on the other hand doesnt.

you setup as http, not pop3..

Ever since July 15th, no, MS disabled POP3, unless you pay a yearly fee which gives you pop access and more storage.

Just create a new e-mail account, and when it asks you for your e-mail address, type in your hotmail address... it will knows it's a Hotmail account and let your send/receive using it...

hm i think only outlook express supports it directly. its easy to setup just use it separately, express is preloaded on windows anyways, no trouble
