Hotmail finally gives [some of] us 250MB

I got it yesterday.

Panic set in at first, when I saw the little usage meter at 1%... when I'm used to seeing it at 65%
For a moment I thought they deleted all my email!

I have had it on both of my hotmail accounts for a while now, thought that everyone got it, and I didnt get a letter from them saying I got it until ~4 weeks after I got it, I just signed on one day and wow 250 mbs on my hotmail now 😀. Though I wonder about the people who complain about gmail's adds, I still get tonnes of stupid adds on the side with hotmail.

Just go 250 last week. They also had cut off my pop access through Outlook Express. That go fixed when I got bumped to 250. Somebody had posted that they thought they used a better spam filter with the 250 accounts since they didn't want 'em filling up as fast, but I don't see any difference. Anyway, I picked up a Fastmail account and I'm in the process changing all my stuff that was sent to my hotmail to that account.

yes, I just resigned into mine for the first time in half a year. They already closed my email acount, but once I reopened it, I had 250MB.
