When signing into Hotmail, and when starting to type the address of a person your writing too, the auto-complete feature gives you a list of every name ever entered.
This is a bothersome feature which I want to disable. Anyone know how to stop this from happening??
For example, if you use an ID called "cellphone", every time anyone who uses the system types in the letter "c" as the first letter, they get a small pop-up window list with every ID ever typed into that system that begins with "c". Since a password is involved, at least no one else can get in. But I want to stop that "cellphone" id from being shown in the first place.
More important, when composing a letter in hotmail, just typing the first letter of the send-too person, again gives a complete pop-up list of all email address's that where ever sent too on that system (that begin with that particular letter). Anyone else can simply try the entire alphabit as the first letter of an address, and get every address ever sent too..
Hopefully there's a setting I haven't found yet to stop anyone else from seeing who, emails are possibly being sent too. (and I've tried the setting on the initial sign-on screen, they just keep web brouser history private)... anyone can still see all sign-on id's and email addresses mailed too..
Looking for more security and privacy, any ideas?
