Hotmail Accounts not free???

Everything Hotmail has and more ... except the big name.

Hotmail is still free. They don't make it obvious - during the signup process after you enter your preferred login name/password, it will tell you thank you for signing into Passport. Right after that is a screen saying "for only $19.99/yr, you get". At the very bottom of the page is a link for "CLICK HERE to get a 2MB account". That's the free one.

i noticed that when u sign up there are big ads and buttons promoting the $19.95 thing, but at the botton there is a small text link that says "No, I'd like the free acct."

on the upper left hand side of my account, there is a stupid red bar, saying that i have reach the max mb. anyone having the same red bar?
 
I use hotmail as my junk e-mail account due to all the advertising. They just try to make the selection less obvious for the free version.

yeah, but mines only at 19% i delete my old mail
 
has anyone subscribed to the $19.99 hotmail? I'm starting to get really tired of the "account full" notices but it irks me that I should have to pay for email...
