Has anybody tried Hotline for file sharing? Is it anything like Morpheus (or like Morpheus was) or Kazaa? Just interested because a coworker told me about it today and he thinks it's great. Then again he's never heard of Morpheus, so maybe he's full of it.

Hotline is like a metaindex of Hotline servers, which are a lot like FTP servers.

You cannot search across the network, which severely limits its utility. You have to go to each server, drill down, and see if it has what you want.

Hotline is pretty good, well if ur into the whole ftp type scene i guess...but yes there are 3rd party site that allow free hotline file searching, such as Thesnitch.com and Hotlinehq.com

Hotlines been around for a while, you can find mostly everything on it, but it may not be as easy to use as morpheus. Ive had several friends give up trying to use hotline because they cant RTFM, theres even a tutorial on their site...jeeze..anyways its kinda like the whole client-server ftp scene but with search and trackers.
