Hotel mattresses

Why don't they have plastic covers?

I don't feel like sleeping on other people's bodily fluids.

When I bought my bed set I thought it might be a good idea to leave the plastic on the mattress but I soon found out any movement caused annoying
plastic rustling sounds. In short...too noisy. Maybe it's the same for hotels.

Some hotels (at least) use a quilted mattress pad with a moisture-blocking middle layer (similiar to hospitals).

Plastic right under a sheet would be uncomfortably warm.

Plastic covers are uncomfortable, hot, noisy.

But the mattress is not the only place "bodily fluids" are found. I remember seeing an investigative video about motel/hotel rooms. Using a black light, they found "bodily fluids" residue on the walls, floors, desks, chairs, damned near anywhere you might possibly think. Seems some people are quite creative when....ummm......having fun.

I saw a similar report which surprisingly to me at least showed very little correlation between the price of the hotel & the amount of ...erm... fluids present.

They wash the sheets, at least any half decent motel should. I've never caught AIDS or cancer or any other illness from sleeping at a motel, so I'm not too worried about it.

When I arrived in South Korea two years ago my boss put me in a Love Motel. I had no idea why it was called a Love Motel until my coworkers told me that people go there to have nasty sex. I was there for six days. 🙁

Prostitution is a big deal in Korea.

So tell us more about your job at the Love Motel and why you had to quit working there after 6 days...

It was a temporary place to stay until my boss was able to put me in an apartment. I think she did it because it's a very cheap place to stay.

Did you boss come visit you at the love motel? ()🙂

If you've been in my bed, there's going to be fluids 🙂

I don't stay at less than $100 rooms though...usually closer to $200 min.
