Dell Small Business has a great deal on the Dell PowerEdge SC420 Server

for $309 with free shipping

loaded with P4 2.8ghz w/1MB Cache, 256MB, 80GB SATA HD,

upgrade to 160GB HD for $10

makes for a great little server or convert it to a desktop, I believe it uses the 875 intel board on it...

use the $30 coupon to take it down to $279 PRETTY DANG HOT!!

PCIe x8 to PCIe x16

From what I've read in that forum, he hasn't verified that it works as x16.. just that it fits. I actually didn't even know that they had such video cards out.

 No one else interested in this?
The cpu and 160GB hard drive would cost $260 at Newegg.

What chipset is this using? I don't think it's the 875 because it has the PCIEx as well as the DDR2. 915 or 925??

I ordered one and here's my bill for Pentium®4 2.8GHz, 256MB Ram, No Operating System, 160GB HD upgrade.

Original price $509.00

Special coupon -$220.00 (the special coupon deal listed above)

You guys should hurry if you want to get on this coupon deal. The site is getting hammered by folks like us trying to save money :p

Wow, the original deal when I ordered one last night was good, but $30 less really makes it HOT :D

I just ordered another one with the new code, with a 160GB hard drive $289 + tax shipped

Then I called and canceled the other one. Both of them were already in production

What?! How'd you get free shipping? I've seen one other post where a guy in CA got free shipping too. Please explain.

I decided to pass, the issues with the PCI 8x / 16x was enough to pass, plus no sound, I"ll just wait--really didn't need it, but, bump because it's still a pretty decent deal.
