Check out June the past 2 years, it's been pretty mild. 2003 had a 107 high. So I guess it is unusual to see these kind of temperatures in June.

Just came back from Palm Desert, CA yesterday. It was anywhere from 110-112 during the afternoon. I thought I would die upon stepping outside but it was actually pretty tolerable (dry heat). Still, I didn't hang around outside for more than a couple minutes at a time.
