hot....

It's 85 fahrenheit in my office right now and I?m roasting my balls off. Can't really complain since I?m kiddy-corner with the president of the company who has bad blood circulation, and coincidentally needs to keep it 'warm'.

How warm is it inside your office right now?

I went a week of mid 90s temperatures outside and low 80s inside because the air at my end of the building died. Finally, the cheap asses realized a new air conditioner was in order instead of just refilling the freon which continually leaked. It's been cool and cozy now the last two days.

They had to reroute the AC ducts into our area cause the servers kept the temp at around 90 degrees.... Its now a confortable 75 ish...

65 F year round, but I sit in a room with our "test" servers so they keep it waaaaaay to cold.

When I walk out of my room to use the restroom or get water and I'm wearing a sweater in the middle of sumer people seem to look at me like I've gone crazy.

Currently here in South FL its 92 F outside.

Fahrenheit motherfvcker do you speak it?!?!?! 😀. According to my Oregon Scientific thermostat it's 74.3 degrees in my office. Probably around 68-70 in my server closet.

LOL. Sometimes if I have to move things around in the summer I like to go in the server room for a minute to cool off. I would NOT like to work in there. I feel bad for you guys that are stuck in them.

There are 30 machines in here. It's not a data center, just a test lab but we had them run an extra AC duct in here so it's quite chilly generally. I'd say mid to low 60's

Complain to OSHA. Heh.

We have a thermostat in our office so we can turn ours up or down depending on the day. Really handy.

93°F (34°C)
Humidity: 53 %
Wind Speed: NW 5 MPH
Barometer: 29.95"
Dewpoint: 73°F (23°C)
Heat Index: 102°F (39°C)
Visibility: 7.00 mi

Not all that hot for July, really. The humidity is usually much higher.

Inside it's about 72 degrees because I have the A/C cranked. 😀

Anybody know if there is an OSHA rule regarding inside temperatures for offices? I ask because my wife's boss is a cheapskate and refuses to run the A/C so it's hotter than balls in her office.

Probably about 76 in my office, though. 😀
