When I (soon?) get FiOS installed, I intend to go for the very cheapest Verizon local phone plan - acording to gergever - $13/month 'measured service' w/1¢ per (outgoing, I'm assuming?) call and 1.6¢ / minute (again, outgoing, right?).
I will use that as an *incoming* *only* line.
For *outgoing*, use my $11.79 / month (incl. tax, fees, ...) VoIP line from Mass. based BroadVoice . com that has *unlimited* in-state.
For my occaisional out-of-state and International, I'll use the VoIP line in conjuntion with OneSuite.com or, better yet, RNKTel.com (aka DialAroundTheWorld.com) if / when I can snag their (promotional?) 1¢/minute rates.
Gee, I can also consider simply forwarding the incoming only Verizon measured service line to the VoIP line, if I want to. Hmmm. A single phone / "hybrid" "line" w/unlimited in-state for $24.79/month? Or, 2 incoming / 1 outgoing lines / phones?
