HOT! XP 1700+ Raid Board w/ HSF $159 @ TCWO.COM

Only shows the mobo in the shoppingcart, although the page you linked it to specifically states that it's a combo. I really hope they won't try to stiff us. Other than that, great price. Newegg has the board alone for $109. The whole combo would be around $250 when shipping is added.

Doubt they will stiff you. I got one the other day at $129. I received it yesterday and it is working fine.

It was $129? When?!?!?! Oh well, $30 down the drain. Still a nice price, most stores have the board alone for $100+, like I pointed out earlier.

Wow! Cheapest M7MIA on pricewatch $97 not counting shipping (and who knows if that price is really what you'd find if you went to that site!)

And the cheapest listing for the XP 1700+ is $110.

What an excellent deal! Thank you! (yea, got one!)

Where did you find this deal at tcwo? I don't see it anywhere.

Good setup, only been running a short while but the install went very smooth..using it for a server box eventually.

What this deal (and NewEgg's XP 1700+ price) tells me is that both this chip and motherboard are now very cheap wholesale. If NewEgg can sell the AXP 1700+ for $115 with free shipping I bet they're paying no more than $80 for it. Biostar are cheap cheap boards and probably cost no more than $50 wholesale so my guess is that TCWO is making $30 on this deal. It's a good deal for all concerned I think.

I predict that the XP 1700+ will be sub $100 within 2 weeks. and the 1800+ will take its place in the "sweet spot" (max bang per buck). Then when the 2000+ approaches the sweet spot (3-4 months time) that will signal the release of the Thoroughbred.

Quick question.... Can you use raid for a single HD? I have multiple HD's, but they are not the same GB, which I think you need for raid.

Wow! Do you think they are making that much. Hmmm..... maybe I should start my own computer company. Where can I buy these parts at wholesale? PM me if you can let me in!

NO WAY!! Newegg is maybe making 10% on their stuff. Competition is so tight. If they were paying $80, don't you think others would be coming in and trying to undercut them? If you look on pricewatch, I GUARANTEE that the cheapest vendor is charging more than 105% what they paid for it.

D.C.

which board is better ? Biostar M7MIA RAID DDR SND or SY-K7ADA Motherboard. also can the biostar support the xp1700? there web site showes it supports up to 1.33 at 266 fsb.

they aren't out of stock, they are sold out!

makes me wonder why they have all of these to dump all a sudden. still waiting on my one at $129, cuz i ordered groud to save two bux!
