Found at Crutchfield

I was browsing for some car audio equipment and came across this at Crutchfield. I don't know much about satelite radio or exactly what equipment is needed, but I believe this item + a subscription + compatible deck would mean satelite radio. Anyways free is always good so maybe it will help someone out.

Edit: Ok I believe you also need to add a Digital Adapter for your brand of deck to connect to the tuner. Still a good deal since the other piece is $50 so it's only $50 AR to set yourself up for XM radio.

Thanks for the info. I just ordered it and will be sending the rebate off as soon as i get it in. Everything seems to be legit w/ no catches.

Also, FYI xmradio.com also has this deal posted on their site.

I'd say not hot ... go for Sirius ... much better programming on their and more interesting options ... the equipment is a short term investment ... the monthly re-occuring fee is a long term investment ... choose the proper sattelite company ... Sirius IMHO.

The important part of the above post is "IMHO". Do your own research. Most objective reviewers place both services on an equal level. The final decision will be based on your personal taste. In fact, they're both quality enough that many long-haul truckers install both in their rigs :)

The best fully varied easily accessible (past 1 block of a college) non-corporate rock and roll is on XMRadio. There's nothing like Fungus 53 anywhere else.

If you like corporate music or gals that sing along with studio musicians you'll be happy with Sirius.

XM > Sirius.... IMHO of course... But then again, my vehicle came with XM preinstalled, so I'm being biased.

I have had XM for about 2 years now and I love it

the only thing I am bummed out about is that the NFL is on Sirius but I have the NFL ticket at home so I just don't go out on sunday's :)
