Why is it that every time a site shows the Radeon winning 5 out of 30 tests, someone jumps up and says, "Look at all the 32-bit benches. Radeon's taking the GTS in every one". This bull will make most people no longer believe anything ATI owners say. We are not stupid, and we CAN read the results. Still, those results that the ATI card actually won in, didn't look right. Madonion scores were higher than any Radeon's I've seen, and the GF2 GTS were lower than anyone gets. A simple check at Hardocp's GF2 GTS test showed the correct info. Instead of 1024x768x32 scoring 4722, it is actually around 5077, and that is still a little on the low side for us GTS owners. This then would be yet another 32bit test the ATI card loses, as it scored 4989, (and unlike the GTS card, that number would be difficult for any ATI owner to get).
These results can no longer be ignored. Over and over again, testing shows the Radeon loses 95% of the time to the GTS card with a high end PC, at high end resolutions with 32bit. As to the GF2 MX, now that is the card the ATI needs to compete with, and explains why it is priced at the MX level. In low end PC's, at lower resolutions, and at 16bit, and even many times at 32bit, the MX can beat the Radeon card. If you have a CPU less than 600MHz, or a monitor 17" or less and primarily game at 1024x768 (which 80% still do game at), then the Radeon is no longer the best choice, as the MX is right there with it for performance.
