This forum seriously puts a dent in my credit card. (Yes, let me blame something else besides myself!) 🙂

I seriously need to exclude forums.anandtech.com from my daily visits. I think a hosts file with anandtech.com pointing to a porn site should fix this problem.
 
I jumped on this as well. My credit card is in pain!!!! But at least ill get 3 reward points for every dollar (651 points) for using my amazon rewards card (allready got $50 in 2 months from amazon).

How is it so hot? Lowest on Newegg is 302. I understand 80 bucks a pretty good discount but if you factor in huge delay(4 weeks or longer!) It's not such a great deal me thinks.
 
This is great, just paid $270 for a 9800 Pro 2 weeks ago. If I can get $220 on ebay for it I'm in good shape.

...I don't know about that one. I see 309 as the lowest price. That said, the difference from 217 to even 302 is nearly 50% increase in price. That's HUGE. Combine that with the fact that MANY AT'ers are in CA and get stuck for tax on Newegg purchases and you can see where we're coming from. Sure four weeks is a long time. However, they're not charging u a dime til it ships so what do u have to lose?
 
I canceled my order, it's not an XT like I thought. You can get this at allstarshop for $210 but only 128MB which out performs the 256MB edition.

did you even read the review? the 256mb version has a higher memory clock than the standard 128mb version. the 256mb versions wins obviously.
 
this is too tempting, i was wanting to wait for doom3 or something worthwhile to be announced but damn...im jumping on this, be in just in time for my birthday 🙂
