Is it possible to use a Palm as a receiver? My wireless experience is practically zero.

If so, then I finally have a reason to get one. I have a lot to learn. Maybe it's time for Wireless for Dummies?

Yep. I've been using my VX4400 hooked up to my Sony Clie to surf the web on the go. Definitely a cool thing. All you need is a cable from supplynetwireless.com or gomadic.com to connect your phone to your palm and you're set.

Anyone know where I can get/buy pocket pc 2003?

PPC2002 runs like trash. Drops my verizon connection (from the lg4400) when the cpu usage peaks for 2 seconds or so......

You either have to buy a new device with PPC 2003 pre-loaded or buy the PPC 2003 software from the manufacturer of your device - each OEM has device-specific versions...there is no such thing as "generic" PPC 2003 software. Hope that helps

Not true in my case.

I just got my VX4400 on Sunday from a Verizon store. When I asked about Ex Network the rep gave me a story about needing this plan blah blah. I went home and called Verizon and asked if they could explain to me what EN is and what it's for. The csr pulled up my acct and said it looks like they forgot to activate it on your phone so I'll do it right now. He then proceeded to tell me all about it. That's seemed to work for me.

Oh and he said there was no charge for this service. You'd only be using your airtime.

I know some of you are saying you have to be on an AC plan. My plan is a really old one (Western 12 state Digital) and the rep said it was fine.

The whole point of the express network is so your PDA or Laptop can have connectivity.
