On +R most likely, MCC 03.
With luck, you can get YUDEN000T02.

On -R most likely you'll get MCC 02RG20
With luck, you can get TYG02.

Educate yourself. BTW, your looking at CMC on that page. I knew MCC and MCM both sounded wrong. Learn to read PI/PO scan's and then look at the scans done on the Verbatim/CMC media. Total crap when compared with the Japanese brands. Taiyo Yuden of Japan and Ricoh of Japan are the best, along with other Japanese media thats simply superior to Taiwanese. I've done enough testing of enough media myself to know this. But don't take my word for it, like I said, simply sign up and read that forum.

if you scan through the posts, the PI/PO scans, the Mitsubishi is just as good as Ricoh. with a few anomalies here and there. As so with Ricoh DVD+R. The scans on CMC media from CD-Freaks seems inconsistent from user to user with higher PI/PO errors.

When it comes to the 8X Verbatim Data life DVD+R's, it looks like they are in only two media codes. YUDEN000T02 and MCC...003.

These MCC disks that are made in Taiwan aren't of the same quality of the MCC disks that had been made in Japan. If you get the TY's that's great, but from what I've just read from the Amazon reviews, they seem to be the MCC's and I wouldn't rush out to buy these. There are sales nearly every week or two at Compusa, Beastbuy and Fry's and Office Depot that sell MIJ disks from brands like SONY, Fuji, Maxell, and TDK. I pay from 17.99 to 19.99 for a 50pack spindle of MIJ disks.

Just for info , below is a link to media code MCC...003 and the various companies that use them. Mixed reviews as far as I can see.

By the way, if you are archiving data that was important, then I would want the MIJ disks. just my two cents.

Even TDK and Fuji and Sony are selling disks that are made in Taiwan. The only was to insure you're getting the MIJ disks are to go to the B&M store and look at the labels. There are no guarantees when buying online.

the pack i got were MCC003.

PI/PIF scans looked really good at 12x on my benq 1620pro.

looks like they raised the price abit though. now 34.99.
