Staples will only match items at the net price, which is $30 in this case so you will not
be able to price match with the shentech $55 at least that was my experience. for $30
this printer is not bad but it is not a steal. just my 2 cents.:Q

The rebate is only valid if this scanner is purchased at Staples, that is what it says on it.
about my previous PM post. You can PM using AMEX BLUE but you can't get Staples to
PM the item themselves unfortunately my BLUE Card hasn't arrived yet.

Let me know if anyone has actually got a price match with the amex express because they wouldn't let me price match because you're not allowed to pricematch if you bought it from someplace that already has a pricematching policy (This is to eliminate double pricematching).

I guess I got my online order in before the AnandTech effect took hold. I checked the order's status today and it says "Shipped" (said "Processing" since Friday). Now I wonder if I will get the rebate back before or after the end of summer....

Just called them and they said they ran out but had special ordered one, so my order is still good.

FYI. They said they "pricematched it and everything"?!? So I asked what's that all about? They said when they special order the price is a little higher so they PMed it back to $99.99. Oh well. Would I have expected less (of their effort)???

I also called a local store and they have some in-stock.

question: If I go back later after I received it and then try to PM with Shentech.com or whoever, can I do that in B&M or do I have to go thru staples.com?
