Well the shipping is free. Also if you order from the website they won't do the pricematch. $18.36 (tax included and after MIR) for a USB scanner isn't bad at all and no waiting in line.

damn, what an @sshole i got to deal with at staples...

i first tried to pm shentech for $55 and the guy came back 15min later and said it would be $113 total as they'd match shentech's price, plus $60 for next day air. wtf??? like anyone would pay that much for shipping

i then presented a printout of my staples shopping cart with the $20 off $100 coupon, but they wouldn't take that either, because they needed a coupon to scan

what a crock of sh!t. i'm half temted to buy every last one they have in stock and egay them just to spite the bastards

There are too many threads about this scanner to keep track of now, but I thought I remembered reading in one of them that AMEX was saying "no go" to pricematching Staples---even for those people attempting a pricematch after the Staples 15-day pricematch time limit had expired. Truth or fiction? Has anyone actually pulled off a pricematch on this scanner? Was it during the last ($80 rebate) promo, or the first offering with the $70 rebate?

luvya: I think you have to wait, or someone can provide it for you if they have it.

Aar0n: You can go thru the checkout process at Shentech and it will show you your actual shipping cost. You can than PM that. If Staples wants to PM with next day air, then they should PM with their next day air (the same method) cost to be fair.

there are free item coupons, and they do work, maybe u just forgot to add the item to your cart 1st!

and the amex rumor sh*t about not taking pm for staples i wouldn't trust! it is a rumor, and if it was true amex would have to have it on their website!
