good deal, we needed the card and WAP here at my work... I got the link for the card elsewhere but thanks for the WAP, I was looking around before and didn't have enough time to find it 😀
 
i've used both, but i think the pci card's signal is too distorted by the case + monitor, at least w/ the usb one you could move it away from both and hang it on a wall (my router's upstairs, in the computer downstairs the pci card wouldn't cut it so i had to get a usb one and hang it towards the ceiling)
 
AkumaX - Thanks, we already have an extra Microsoft USB adapter which works GREAT on another desktop.

I think I'll use that instead of ordering this, besides such small rebates are a PITA for a lazy ass like myself.
 
This rebate is good on product purchased between 3-1-04 and 3-31-04.
Don't buy it before the first of the month or you'll be SOL.

The website doesn't list the model #.
They have their own part number.
There's no way to confirm that this model is listed on the rebate form.
 
crap. OK, so does anyone have an older rebate form? That's nice that they advertize it for FAR and it's not good for a few more weeks.

This PCI adapter works well...installed it in my bro's machine.

Just a heads up on the rebates - Uniden (or their rebate co.) is very SUSPECT - make COPIES (as you should with all rebates, but I know sometimes you get lazy with the sub $20 ones!). I've done two Uniden rebates and I had to bitch on one. I don't like those odds. 🙂
 
I ended up ordering to of the PCI Wireless cards and one of the USB Adapters. $37.79 (shipped 2-day) and I just checked and its been shipped.

I will be tring to get all three rebates.
If I dont, I will be happy, getting just one.
$29.97 after rebate for (3) items shipped still sounds pretty good.

Now, I can send SBC DLS, their (2) HPNA adapters that they were charging me $100.00 for.

Anyone that owns one of these:

I see the antenna looks like it's detachable. Anyone know what kind of connection it is? It looks like a RP-SMA, but can't really tell.
