If these rebates both come, this is a KILLER deal for a GREAT pocket pc. I have the previous model from toshiba (takes CF and SD cards), but the 310 apparently rivals some palmOS handlelds for size.

The OD rebate can take a photocopy of the upc, so you're set there as well.

how do i price match at od?? what do i need to bring from best buy to show to get the price match? also.. a lot of stores offer a free 32 meg sd card with the toshiba e310.. does OD also?

Some people over at FW bought it at Staples but apparently Staples won't PM the E310 anymore. I think the only way to go now is to PM using AMEX, since BB doesn't have it for 299 anymore and OD doesn;t PM internet prices......

BTW, has AMEX changed BVG policies lately? Haven;t PM with AMEX in a while

Great deal! Here was my experience:

For those of you in the South Bay area of CA, the Hawthorne (possibly Torrance too) store has the E-310 for $299.

I went to the Office Depot on Crenshaw at Torrance Crossroads and asked them to PM Best Buy's price. Apparently they were willing to do an Internet price match, but the online price for the E-310 at BB was $379. I had the manager give the Hawthorne BB a call and he confirmed the B&M price of $299. When I showed him the Staples coupon that I printed from f@tw@llet, he let me know that OD no longer accepts competitor's coupons. Not wanting to press my luck, I made the purchase at $299 and the register automatically printed both the OD and Toshiba rebate receipts. Once the rebates come in, I'll have paid $199 + tax instead of $159 + tax, but all in all, it was still a really good deal.

Does Office Depot do pricematches on Internet sales?

OD's price match policy says they only pricematch other office supply stores. I tried this in Palo Alto. The manager quoted their policy when I tried to price match a hard drive at Best Buy. If you get a nice manager who will, then you're lucky.
