Anyone know how good this shaver is?
All the shavers ive tried cant cut properly around my chin and throat. I have to go over it 20 times. How will this perform?

thanks

i have a panasonic linear. they are great but doing the neck is a hassle like all electric shavers.
its supposed to be easy cause it "floats" or whatever but i never have an easy time doing neck.
i can do everywhere great expect neck.

I tried the model that this replaced... it also did 13000 rpm, but it did an absolutely terrible job and couldnt get short stubble at all. It also left my face very dry and flaky

I guess the flakiness depends on from person to person.

But the electric shaver is not worth $79.99. I got this as a gift for my birthday last year and I dont notice a difference between this and my $29.99 one I bought from Frys about 2 years ago.

Definately not worth 79.99

"Sold elsewhere for up to $299.00! "

Where? www.I'm_an_idiot.com?

Maybe that was $299 pesos?

I've got the same problems shaving my neck. I've given up on electric shavers (even though regular razors still take a couple of passes)

This is getting a bit off topic but I'll bite.

I've had a Norelco quadra for 2 yrs and quite happy. Have had same problems w/ neck and drying skin UNTIL...

I started using William's Lectric Shave Ultra Pre-Shave Gel. This is the ONLY pre-shave that I've tried that actually works. Follow the directions and it WILL minimize the neck-nicks and dry skin.

Where can I pick up that gel from? Also, do I need to have a wet/dry shaver if i want to use the gel?

William's Lectric Shave Ultra Pre-Shave Gel is available at grocery/drug stores. You can use the gel w/ any shaver. You have to wait a few seconds for it to dry before shaving. One bottle should last a couple of months. I've tried Afta, Nivia and Lectic Shave liquid and they don't compare.

FYI, I used to use a Mach3 and got a shave that was closer than any electric but still got razor burn and got sick of the cost of residuals.
