I can't find any review on this oven but the following appears to be very similar.

I'd stay very far away from this if it's anything like the one for which there are reviews.

Those who don't want to be showered by glass when the front door shatters all over the kitchen.

I had a toastmaster oven, it broke in 4th month even I probably only use it once or twice a week, RMA turn around take about 2-3 weeks by UPS. I got mine from target clearance for $16 with removeable internal enclosure that is nice thing that I can remove it and clean it after the gease stick to everywhere. But it break down in 4th month is little disappoint, but mine only cost $16 and original cost $60, I will not complain.

I can't imagine how a toaster oven could actually explode when they are made of metal and glass (which should be tempered glass), neither of which is combustable. Those reviews sound a little fishy, perhaps made by a competitor. Can anyone verify these claims?

I got a similar one (toast only) but the problem is it takes like 8 minutes to toast a piece of bread! my wife feels the need to mention this to me every single time she uses it.

SUCK IT Toastmaster!

We have a Procter Silex which is a real lousy toaster oven. That's why I tried to find a review on the Toastmaster.

However using a toaster oven makes for an appreciable savings in energy use when you're only cooking for two and keeps the kitchen a lot cooler on a hot summer day.

I still look for an "old" toaster oven like my mother had which went to our daughter when my mother died. I replaced the heating element in it in spite of the protests from the service center that it wasn't safe to do so. They did take my money and ordered the element for me and it didn't take a rocket scientist to replace the burned out one.

It works great and I wish they made them like that still.

I suspect that the reviews of "exploding front door glass" have something to do with how the grease splatters and if not cleaned up promptly from the glass it could cause a hot spot and cause the glass to crack. I think that tempered glass when it breaks does shatter but it should be in smooth pieces and not sharp shards of glass that could cause injury.

Hey, they're probably all made in China by the same sweat shop using slave labor...

I bought a top rated Cusinart toaster oven... it cost me 140$ but it actually is a functional oven unlike the other glorified toasters that cannot even handle frozen pizza...
