Thundercloud Subs in Austin, Round Rock & San Antonio in Texas are having a special all month long for their 30th Anniversary of being in business. Every day a different sub is offered at their original prices when they were first offered. Example: Their turkey sandwich was introduced in 1975 and it was $1.20 for the 6-inch and $1.55 for the foot long.

"Better than Subway" is hugely subjective. I personally find Thundercloud sandwiches repulsive. However, for those who do indeed like Thundercloud, this is a fantastic deal. Nice find.
 
Well I can't stand the bread Subway uses. Even though it's baked fresh, the starting off with frozen dough thing makes it taste weird, especially for bread. I find it repulsive.
 
But what you can't find subjective is the superiority of quizznos 😛 Just too bad they charge 2x what everyone else does 🙁

I didn't say I liked Subway...just said I didn't like Thundercloud. 🙂

Like I said, this is a nice find for those that do like Thundercloud. Now if you can dig up something like that for Quizno's we'll be in business.
 
Thundercloud has really gone downhill in recent years, IMO. Still decent, but now I mostly satisfy my sub sandwich needs at Jimmy John's.

lol you guys must not live in the chicagoland area, POTBELLY SANDWICHES are amazing, far superior to quizno's - they use too much dressing, ugh!

Thundercloud is ok. what repulses me is the hippie making the sandwich that smells worse than the onions he's putting on it.:disgust:
