gogamer has the claw game controler on sale for $29.90. If you haven't seen one of these before, it has to be the best controlers ever made. Perfect for FPS.

Ok thanks, another ?, is this better than the Nostrodomo N50 game pad, gamestop has it for the same price with free shipping. Thanks in advance.

If you check out the claw link above, it has a review link that compares the claw to the Nostrodomo N50. Surprisingly :) all the reivew were favourable. I'm sure you can find equally favourable reviews going the other way too.

Unfortunately, gogamer appears to OOS on the claw.

I don't know about the claw; I have the Nostromo n50 and I am very pleased with it. CompUSA & Microcenter have it for $30. I think it might be more functional than the claw because it has a directional pad (access it with your thumb - great for strafing). It also has a 'thrust' switch - this comes in handy when you have your weapons tied to your wheelmouse but you still need the ability to scroll though stuff (like inventory or force powers in JKII). This is definitely the best $30 I have spent on a gaming accessory.

i just read the reviews on this and they all convince me to buy this. Can anyone else vouch for this controller, is it really that good? Does fry sell this so I can feel it "up" in B&M.

thanks for the info.

I have The Claw (paid $40 for it) and it is well worth it. It's an excelent controler, fits your hand perfectly. I got it because I hate using the keyboard in games, as my hand will start to cramp up after prolonged game play. Not so with the claw. The other thing I really like is the software that comes with it, you can program serise of moves and buttons in just about any componation (mouse and/or keyboard, you can even add dealays if you want). All in all and excelent product.

I don't know of any B&M stores that carry it (there very well could be thought, I just don't know of any) You can get a list of some of the dealers here, maybe one is near you. As far as feel, it fits my hand perfectly, but I don't excactly have small hands (it's ovbiously made for a guy). My girlfriend will uses it on occasion (when I can get her to play Computer games), she just folds up a pice of cloth to move her hand forward so she can reach the buttons (she has small girly hands).

I am still using a logitech cyberman2 and love it. The claw looks cool though.

I like the loadout downloads for games from the n50. It's also adaptable for small hands. I have a friend who swears at his claw - my n50 is so nicely programmable if I don't like the download loadout for a certain game. If you play fps I say go with the n50 ..

I have the n50 and really like it. It works especially well when gaming on a laptop - you don't destroy the fragile laptop keyboard.

If you buy or already have the n50, make sure to go to Belkin's website and download the new drivers. They fixed the annoying problem of having to assign the "mode" keys to one of the ten buttons. I assume now you can assign the mode key to another key other than the 10 function keys.
